If you would like to become a member of First Baptist Church, you can do so in one of the following ways:
By professing your faith and Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and following Him in the act of believer’s baptism.
By transferring your letter of membership from another Baptist church. (Note - in the event that an individual wishes to become a member of FBCR, but does not wish to have their membership transferred from their “home” church, that person can become an “Affiliate Member” of FBCR. Affiliate members have all the rights and privileges of resident members with the exception that affiliate members are not eligible to serve as a deacon or other church officer.)
By statement of faith if your membership is no longer available for transfer, or if you are a member of a church of another denomination and have been previously baptized by immersion. (Note - if you are a member of a church of another denomination and have not been baptized by immersion, you will be required to present yourself as a candidate for baptism by immersion in order to become a member of FBCR.)
If you would like to know more about how you can become a member of FBCR, you may come forward during the invitation at the conclusion of this worship service or speak with the pastor after the service is concluded. Be a part of what God is doing here at FBCR.
